		<description>Dan,

As always, thank you for the great and well thought-out comment.

Funny you mention Comerica, as I actually did pull my business from there a few months back (nobody seemed to really care - surprise) due to some of the same issues you mentioned.

If free markets are still the rule of the day, then at some point customer dissatisfaction should reflect on the bottom line of these companies.

		<description>Adam,

I feel your pain.

But as I'm sure you're aware of, when you're dealing with a big company (or bank in this instance) the attitude toward customers changes person to person, bank from bank.

I went through a prolonged refi nightmare on an investment property that I used my business line of credit to purchase.

This is Comerica, in Ann Arbor (downtown). One lady there was EXTREMELY unhelpful, and what I considered to be unprofessional. Consistently dropping the ball, not following up with me.

I was beginning to think I was insane. How many customers have a 400k line of credit and still have a 750+ credit score and have run their business through Comerica for 6-7 years now.

I was ready to pull my entire businesss and move to another bank but the relationship was saved by ONE BANKER, who consistently went to bat for me and was very professional and always got back to me in a timely manner and went above and beyond the call of duty.

But, overall, I totally agree with you. I can't stand businesses that don't have a customer friendly philosophy and they should be instilling that into their employees.
